Upon arrival, a comprehensive evaluation of the carpets will be conducted to determine the type, fibre, and age. The assessment will include identification of stains or problem areas and the development of a plan of action for cleaning. If you have pets, a UV light will be used to locate any “accidents” and recommendations for pet treatments will be provided if necessary.

2. Spot Stain Treatment

Basic stain removal is included in our service. We’ll use professional-grade carpet stain removers to tackle any stains, ensuring they’re removed without causing further damage to your carpet.
Note – DIY stain removers can often lock in the stain and make it permanent. 

3. Carpet Shampooing:

We’ll apply a high-quality pre-spray shampoo and deodoriser to the carpets to break down protein soils, stains, oils, and grease.

4. Hot Water Extraction Steam Cleaning:

Using a professional truckmount machine, we will perform hot water extraction with high heat and suction to effectively rinse the carpet fibres and remove dirt and shampoo.

5. Neutralising & Deodorising:

We’ll use a carpet conditioning rinse to bring the carpets back to a neutral pH, helping to prevent re-soiling and leaving the carpets soft to the touch.

The carpets will be dried using additional passes with the carpet wand to expedite the process, with the goal of achieving touch-dry carpets within 1-6 hours, depending on various factors such as humidity levels in the room, air flow, the type of carpet fibres and its thickness. The humidity and air flow in the room plays a significant role in how quickly the carpet will dry, as does the type and thickness of the carpet fibres. By ensuring a fast drying process, this helps to prevent any unpleasant odours, dirt or mould build-up, and new stains from forming.
